Board game cafes are fun entertainment venues where folks can gather to enjoy food, drinks, and board games.   

Here at Stay and Play Game Cafe, we cater our Puerto Rican menu, games, and overall experience to all ages, group sizes, and playing skill levels.  Our game library ranges from the classics (Monopoly, Scrabble, Checkers, Dominos, etc.) to the latest and greatest modern games (Wingspan, Azul, Terraforming Mars, etc.) to laugh-out-loud party games (Wits and Wagers, One Night Werewolf, Just One, etc.).  Or you can just come for the food and drinks if you like.

A daily gaming pass is only $5 per person with minimum $10 purchase of food and/or drink. Children 12 and under play for free with each paying adult.  People 65 and over also play for free with minimum $10 purchase.

Adults can optionally purchase a $15 game pass without minimum food and/or drink purchase.  Includes up to 2 hours of game play.

Our fee is less than a movie ticket and much more fun and interactive.  The cost of the food and drinks are available on our menu.

This fee helps us cover the cost of damages, maintenance and restocking of the collection of games.   

No problem.  Come in and enjoy our delicious Puerto Rican food and drinks.  You do not have to pay the gaming pass.

Yes, be sure to check-in your game with your server, so we don't confuse your game with one of ours. Note, the game pass fee still applies for all playing of games in our space.

No.  We are a full service restaurant.  We ask that you do not bring in outside food or drinks.

We hold a limited number of reservations for groups of 7 or more.  Feel free to call at 312-685-2255 to check on our table availability.

We really want to make our unique mix of food, drink, and board games available to the whole community.  As such, there are times, in particular during peak operating hours, where we will apply a 2 hour time limit.  Subject to availability, patrons can extend their time limit by paying a $60 per table reservation fee.  

Once all our tables are full, we will add your info (name, phone number, number in your group) to our wait list. We will give you a call or send a text as soon as a table is available. Please be sure to answer your phone or respond to the text! If you do not respond in 5 mins we move on to the next name on the wait list.  After your response, likewise, you will have 15 mins to return to Stay and Play Game Cafe.    

We are excited to now offer the ability to call in orders for pick up.  Please call 312-685-2255 during our operating hours to place your order.  Credit cards information will be taken with order placement.

Kitchen stops serving hot items 1 hour prior to closing.  There are some food menu items available after the kitchen closes.  The bar stops serving drinks 30 mins before closing.  See our hours here.
